Each year during the last weekend of July, artists throughout historic Astoria open their studios to the general public to share their art and creative process. Visitors from near and far get an all-access pass behind the scenes and into the life of each artist. Free, full-color tour guides featuring all artists are available at the AVA Gallery and throughout downtown Astoria in late July. There is no cost to go on the tour.

Printed tour guides are available throughout downtown Astoria and any participating studio the week of the tour, or folks can use the digital version to access the same information. This is a self-guided experience. Each studio is clearly marked with a number that corresponds to the map in the tour guide. Many studios will also have red arrows to help guide you to their door.

The tour guide booklet indicates which studios are handicap accessible and which artists are giving demos. Some studios may require visitors to wear masks, which will be provided.
