Off The Wall
December 5 - 21, 2025
AVA’s Off the Wall fundraiser kicks off with the Supporters’ Soirée and Costume Dance Party on December 5 and continues with The Postcard Show and Member Feature silent auction, on view through December 21. Guests are invited to take work off the wall if they choose and visitors throughout the month may enjoy an eclectic mix of diverse artwork and a surreal photobooth experience inside the gallery.
Astoria Visual Arts has long been a hub for creativity on the North Coast, offering year-round exhibitions, artist-in-residence programs, youth art education opportunities, professional development for artists, and community partnership programs that enhance our lives. Funds raised through Off the Wall directly support these programs and ongoing efforts to keep the arts accessible to all in our community.
“Off the Wall is all about celebrating the artists who make our community so vibrant, while also raising essential funds to keep AVA’s programs accessible to everyone,” says Annie Eskelin, AVA’s Executive Director. “When you support AVA, whether through a donation or purchasing artwork, you’re not just getting something cool, you’re investing in improving and enhancing our collective wellbeing.”
The Postcard Show and Member Feature showcases a wide range of work created by AVA’s local and regional members. The exhibition will feature a mix of painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, handmade lights, fiber arts, and more — reflecting the diverse voices, mediums, and perspectives within AVA’s creative community. Most pieces included are part of a silent auction.
