Jeremy Furnish and Jenny Rideout
Jeremy Furnish and Jenny Rideout are featured in a joint exhibit showcasing the work they each completed during their 6-month residency at AVA during 2024.
Jeremy Furnish
Jeremy Furnish, of Astoria, works primarily in found object sculpture, which has become a familiar way to communicate with those around him — to make them laugh, or to share sentiments on a deeper level. Whether it’s a grand-scale public installation or a piece that can be held in the palm of a hand, the thread that connects all of Furnish’s work together is the desire to evoke emotional responses.
