Board Member Spotlight: David Savinar

A native Oregonian, David Savinar creates captivating, expressive pen and ink drawings and paintings. Often whimsical, sometimes contemplative, David’s artwork immerses the viewer into a fanciful, emotional world. His scope of work encompasses sculpture and film as well. David earned a BA in Fine Art at the University of Denver and a BFA from The Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. He studied at the Art Students League in New York and has studied at The Museum Art School (PNCA) and Portland State University. As an advertising Creative Director, David created campaigns for companies like L’Oreal, Gillette, Westin Hotels, Nike, Star Wars among others. Currently, he serves on the boards of Pacific Northwest College of Art and Maryhill Museum of Art.
